Spring Vegetable Garden Clean Up

Weeding between the beds and laying down pea gravel in this vegetable garden in the early spring will help prevent weeds spreading in the beds and allow all future time spent in the garden to focus on the veggies. It also gives the whole garden a face lift, inspiring the client to spend more time in the space. The sod grass pulled up on the left side of the garden will be used to build a hugelkultur bed, saving money on hauling it out and recycling the nitrogen back into the soil.
